Welcome to the SPARK Lab!
Our research is focused on understanding risk factors for psychosis in childhood and adolescence, improving methods of screening and assessment for early psychosis, and developing effective intervention strategies to mitigate risk for this population. Located in Providence, Rhode Island, we work with youth and families throughout our state and across New England. |

Active ResearchWe are currently conducting several pilot trials exploring the development and feasibility of family-focused interventions for adolescents with psychosis-spectrum symptoms. Our research is conducted through the Lifespan Health System and Brown University. Please see our Research page for details.
Early Psychosis Info & ServicesEarly psychosis services for youth and families can be hard to find. The state of Rhode Island has made great strides in recent years, building up services for youth with psychosis-spectrum symptoms. The SPARK Lab partners with several specialized clinics, including Bradley Hospital's Stride Clinic which offers psychosis evaluations, consultation, and treatment services.
